Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team at Vital Sign Pediatric Urgent Care. The ideal candidate will provide primary care to pediatric patients, focusing on promoting their health and well-being. Our Urgent Care is open Monday - Friday 1 pm-9 pm and Weekends 9 am- 5pm.

Duties:

- Conduct pediatric patient assessments and examinations
- Develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer vaccinations and medications
- Provide patient education on wellness, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Perform sterile processing of medical equipment
- Perform venipuncture as needed

Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialization
- Current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification
- State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
- Proficiency in eClinicalWorks or similar electronic medical records system
- Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology and standards of care
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Prior experience in a pediatric medical office setting is preferred

Pay: From $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
